What are the methods of surface treatment of aluminium sheet
Aluminum sheet has been widely used in construction industry, especially in decoration building materials. Therefore, the aesthetics of aluminium sheet is more concerned, and now more manufacturers are more concerned about the surface aesthetic treatment of aluminium sheet. There are five ways of surface treatment of aluminium sheet:
1. Electrophoretic coating
Electrophoresis is one of the most effective methods for coating metal workpieces. Electrophoretic coating is a special coating method, in which the conductive coating is immersed in the electrophoretic coating tank with low concentration of water dilution as an anode (or cathode), and the corresponding cathode (or anode) is set in the tank. After a period of indirect DC current is applied between the two poles, a uniform and compact coating film is deposited on the surface of the coating, which is not dissolved by water. There are four kinds of chemical and physical changes in electrophoretic coating process, namely electrolysis, electrophoresis, electrodeposition and electroosmosis. This method is the most widely used in Japan now. After such treatment, the surface of aluminium sheet presents a smooth surface and the corrosion resistance will be enhanced.
2. Powder Electrostatic Spraying
Electrostatic spraying is based on the principle of high voltage electrostatic corona electric field. The metal guide cup on the spray gun head is connected with a high voltage negative current, and the coated workpiece is grounded to form a positive pole. A strong electrostatic field is formed between the spray gun and the workpiece. When the carrier gas (compressed air) delivers the powder coating from the powder barrel to the guide cup of the spray gun through the powder conveying tube, dense charges are generated around the powder. The powder is negatively charged. Under the action of electrostatic force and compressed air, the powder is evenly adsorbed on the workpiece and is heated, melted and solidified (or plasticized) to form a uniform, continuous, flat and smooth coating film. The main feature is to enhance the corrosion resistance of aluminium sheet. For some acid-base salts, this kind of aluminium sheet is superior to the section with oxidation coloring.
3. Grinding
Aluminum plate itself is very bright, but in our life in a certain environment there will be interference highlights, the use of grinding can be a good customer service this shortcoming, its surface is silky, by many people like.
4. Multi-tone Surface Treatment
The traditional color of aluminium sheet can not meet the needs of some designers. In order to make the aluminium sheet more suitable for use, a variety of color treatments have appeared, which make the color of aluminium sheet more perfect. The most important point is that it needs to be polished and oxidized, and the effect is the best.
5. plasma enhanced electrochemical surface ceramization
This is the advanced science and technology used. After this treatment, the quality of aluminium sheet is excellent, although the cost is high, but a penny for a penny. The most important thing is that this kind of aluminium sheet can also carry out a series of color matching.
